Firefox is way better for work than Chrome -- it's not nearly as bloated.

Some people don't like Google very much man. Also the performance between browsers is extremely minimal these days (as much as I hate to say it). I'll still make fun of people using Edge or Explorer though, I'm thoroughly prejudiced.

Adobes fault for making trash, then again that's hardly new. I hate Apple but them pushing HTML5 was the right thing.

I used FF for ages but Chrome started working better for me a few years back. I use it at home and at work.

the problem with Chrome is that it runs separate instances of things like Flash in each browser tab, which eats up a ton of memory my work computer doesn't really have available.

Yup, I think FF is better for surfing and multiple tabs and chrome is better for just one window for YouTube, twitch or other video/media stuff.

Fair enough, I've just had nothing but grief with Firefox, constant crashes and other quirky shit.
Because I already try and avoid Apple as much as possible it's kinda impossible not to avoid Google at the same time, which is a shame, but I can deal with convoluted Google accounts shit if it's stable at least.
I do remember having similar problems with Chrome when i was using an under-spec'd computer, though.
