i got a free beer off Mike Kinsella tonight and watched him try to do drunken covers of Cure/Smiths/Dinosaur Jr songs.
and saw American Football on Sunday night which was kind of a dream come true, one of those bands i'd never even considered i'd have the possibility to see live at some point. good feels.

It's weird realizing that you were on the same bill as somebody that people really like. I just found myself on wikipedia and I don't know who would of added it...what the hell is going on? haha.

To know of obscure VHS release from 10 years ago? Nah, but that would be pretty awesome. I'm not absolute punker enough anyway.

It is weird to be away from things for a long time and the read a wikipedia article with names of bands as "indicitave of that sound" or a see guys like Ty Segall playing festivals/charting when it was like they were just other people in bands around... :lol: . Kinda neat. I'm sure most people on here have already had that epiphany and played around way bigger acts, but I guess these last few weeks were the first time I noticed it myself.

A drum part for our EP we're recording next weekend "clicked" today. :)*

I could play it before, but there was just one note in half a beat at the final part of the song(best part) that was occasionally tripping me up.
