Bob Mould is my biggest guitar hero, just edging out Robert Smith. This performance is something I keep going back to, over and over. Here he is, just a dude and an electric guitar, filling up so much space. It really came as no surprise to find that he admired Throbbing Gristle when he was younger. There's a hypnotic grind to his playing that could easily translate to industrial. If he had been raised in Chicago, maybe he would have ended up on WaxTrax instead of SST. Anyways, this is my first exposure to a solo electric performance like this and I love it.

played a couple shows with these guys years ago. Never actually had a band make me feel stoned purely by their music before that. Was so rad.
