EARLY Nine Inch Nails demos. Rough, in progress versions of the songs I know and love from Pretty Hate Machine. Lots of cheesy, in a good way, drum machines and synths. Lots of samples of televangelists, because 80's. SAXOPHONE! Not really an album, but it is a different look at a musician I love.

Haha! I'm not the only one on a TMBG kick now. I just put on The Spine.

TMBG are one of those bands that I can't really explain why I love them. Their greatness is just kind of simple and self-evident to me. I think they're just perfectly quirky and poppy rock without any sort of arty pretention or transparent attitude.

Also, those some of those Undercover videos are really great. The TMBG one is exactly as fun as you'd expect. The best one (IMO) is Peter, Bjorn and John's cover of Try a Little Tenderness.
