I think you have part of my brain. The amps I have now are a champ 600 and pro jr. I had a '78 2204 JMP and a '74 1987 JMP before that.

After swearing off big amps, I just went and traded my Bass VI and Ampeg 2X10 cab for this!

I heard one of these last weekend at a festival opened up pretty good. I maintain that Silverface Fenders are still some of the best amps out there.

#lampsonamps
I don't know if it's technically vintage yet but it's a couple years older than I am, and that's what really counts, right?

Re: Let's see your AMP!
Just bought this on EBay...

Model 1050. $200. Says that the volume is low, and one tube not lighting up. There's volume, so the OT should be fine. Not too worried about the PT either. Might be something really stupid. Hopefully the tubes are all good, looks like it's got some sweet ones in there.

I seriously doubt the "200 WATT" claim, though once I get it up and running, it should roar just fine next to the YBA-3.

Just finished up decombo-ing my VT-22. Built a new headshell out of 3/4" plywood. Not too shabby considering this is a first go at it. Tolex isn't perfect, but contact cement can be a bit of a bitch to work with.
