Also, those some of those Undercover videos are really great. The TMBG one is exactly as fun as you'd expect. The best one (IMO) is Peter, Bjorn and John's cover of Try a Little Tenderness.

I listened to a bunch of 'em yesterday. Hadn't listened to that one, it is pretty good. Bob Mould "covering" Sugar is, obviously, probably the best:

Say what you may about the man's music, but damn isn't Devin Townsend one of the best vocalists in the business.

Also, unsurprisingly, this is an excellent cover:

Free concert in a church. Pipe organ and acoustic guitar. It's.... ok. The pipe organ is really not a versitile instrument and it's kinda disappointing when people don't realize that. Like in this performance there's a lot of drones and short hits from notes which works sometimes, but all these medium bursts of sound are too jarring, it seems like there should be more of a swell and it just can't do it. Meh. An hour and 10 minutes was too long haha. Avant-garde, eh?

kbit needs to head over to the old Wanamaker's dept. store (not least because they filmed scenes from Mannequin there).

Yeah to be honest I don't really know a lot of organ music so that was dumb to say.

Saw flipper fronted by David Yow last night, I have to say, it was awesome, no Bruce loose but definitely flipper and Yow is an animal in his own right. The guitarist Ted Falconi is pretty rad

Yeah I don't think the pipe organ is my thing, but thanks for all those videos Mudfuzz!
Raga's are definitely my thing though. I have such a fascination with Indian drumming.
All those super fast bursts of rhythm, and the way that swooping pitch sound can be manipulated.
