Re: THE BEER THREAD(?)----->!!!
As I recall that's a dry, moderately hop forward IPA but with a decent balance. Kinda like a Lagunitas IPA but a little more aggressive. Good beer.
The Shed has been around for a long time, over 10 years. That's where the Hill Farmstead guy got started. I think they recently just started doing bigger bottling runs/distribution and they started making some new recipes. Their Mountain Ale is an 8% malt beast that was like $6/32oz at our favorite dive in downtown Burlington, so we'd crush those at the end of Saturday nights out.

Oh yea, I've had the Shed before. The Mountain Ale and something else. Just never saw that particular brew before. Not everyone carries them down here in CT.

ohhh my B.
Went to Other Half this past weekend with a couple friends and drank nothing but stellar IPAs. If anyone is in the NYC area I highly recommend heading to the taproom or just keeping your eyes out for something on tap around town. Great brewery. Grimm makes some killer DIPAs, too.

Re: THE BEER THREAD(?)----->!!!
These are in the fridge at home right now (well, I think it's these four at least
), some will likely be consumed while we put together my new big-ass development PC with a friend this evening :
Sankt Gallen Brown Porter
YoHo 水曜日のネコ (suiyoubi no neko)
Shiga Kogen Indian Summer Saison
Brewdog Hop Fiction
The first 3 are local, good breweries and better prices than imported beers.
Also, Brewdog's new graphic design is pure shit. Their beers (and all their stuff, I have a very nice Punk IPA beer glass) had excellent and very recognizable design and now they look generic as fuck. Ugh.

Punk IPA has been a pretty consistent go to for a while, and canned IPAs are even better. I don't get the can change.

Still tastes good though.

Re: THE BEER THREAD(?)----->!!!

This got released this week and I picked it up today. It's good but I would like it more if it was a little maltier.

Having an afternoon beer while I attempt to do some reading for class.
Crooked Stave Progenitor, dry-hopped golden sour. So good. Like tart passionfruit juice.

The only shitty thing about Halloween is pumpkin flavored beers.

Re: THE BEER THREAD(?)----->!!!
I'm a basic bitch, I fucking love pumpkin, but I hate most pumpkin beers. They are usually awkwardly sweet and taste gross. Two Road's Roadsmary's Baby is the only pumpkin beer I can drink regularly (it doesn't hurt its aged in rum barrels) but I always have to try a new one if its released.
