I just don't get the new Baroness at all. I lived Red and Blue and the stuff before that but Green and Yellow and Purple just don't do it for me. The vocal style has just gotten worse and worse. I'm not against melodic vocals but this just sounds so bad that I have a hard time getting how there's any appeal at all. The song structures sound dumbed down. It's one thing if this was some new band I've never heard of but their other stuff was so good it's frustrating to have that band gone and replaced with this one.

I am really digging the two new David Bowie songs that have been released. I'm curious to hear how the rest of it goes with this jazz band.
