Super rad. I've been thinking about getting a guitar and throwing some alumatones in it, does that pickup sound pretty acousticy? What neck profile did you get?

It sounds like a single coil should sound, minus the noise and minus any scooping/phaseyness. Fucking golden.

The neck profile is the modern hybrid whatever one. Feels good man.

The partcaster I've just completed, the best Jaguar I've ever played :thumb:
'65 body + '77 Musicmaster neck w/ originals tuners + MojoPickups + CTS/switchcraft/cloth wires + Staytrem + mid 60's Vox knobs + custom control plates made in 1 ply red tort + cheap chinese pickguard + everything else from my previous CIJ Jag.

Bro, you need a chrome pickguard to offset the tortoise control plates.

Also that is the sexiest damn Jag I've ever seen! Incredible build!

That is a work of art. The aesthetics are so killer. The wear in the body in particular is really doing it for me. Where did you source that from?

Thanks guys for your warm comments!!!!
I'm very pleased with how the whole project ended up...

I had the body as a part of a trade I made for my CIJ Orange Competition Mustang.
It was already beaten up, I've just sanded down some areas from primer to what was beneath.
Some clear coat and voilà!!!

I had the neck in a trade for a Squier VM Jag neck with Sperzel lock tuners.
It was a great trade!!!!
Plus that MM neck is my favorite of all time.
I ended up buying another '77 MM neck for my Duo Sonic project, which is near to be completed ;)
