Ugh, dude this happened to me the other week with Elder and Earthless.
I was too sick to go and didn't want my ticket to go to waste. Nobody responded.
It kind of pissed me off, actually.
I really wanted to get my boogie on.
And if not me, then others should boogie!

Wait and long for it all week, eat proper dinner, prep breakfast for the morning after and go to bed early the night before to be in good shape. Wake up. Get messages. Band rehearsal cancelled due to other people being hungover and/or lazy. Again. Yet another week wasted. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

that is such bullshit. I move mountains to make sure I can practice, pisses me off when people cancel. especially because of laziness..like what's the point then?

I love my stepmother, but she drives me crazy. She guilts me and my girlfriend for not visiting, even though she and my father have not once come to visit us in Syracuse. It is the same distance both ways, after all. I work nights and weekends, so a trip to see them is prohibitive. 2.5 hours there, visit, 2.5 hours home, try to sleep, work. On top of that, I know what the visit will look like, lots of talking about people I don't know, lots of complaining. An uncomfortable dinner because she and my father are a nightmare at restaurants. (Both are very picky eaters and don't know how to read a menu and pick out what they want. She refused to order a salad at a restaurant once because it was on a page marked 'Salads and Seafood' because she doesn't eat seafood.)

I can't post stuff about music or pedals on my Facebook page without her replying with "I don't know what any of this means." Of course not, it isn't for her, but she doesn't get that.

I'm exactly the same. It's the most important thing for me.

I'm working on new projects, one I'm really hoping to get going. Tis particular one with the lazees is one I'm just trying to do a final recording with, because the songs mean so much to me. If it carries on like this I might as well do it all myself.

And yeah, thanks guys!

You can set it where she only sees certain posts. I have to do that to my aunt.

I know that I can, it just sucks that she refuses to acknowledge this small bit of etiquette. How fucking hard is it to just not say anything when a post is obviously not aimed at you? Jesus.
