Swooped up a '92 Tele Plus. All my booze lawyer buddies think that its an abomination. I on the other hand feel it looks and plays like straight sex. This kit kinda has that Keith Richards/Johnny Greenwood love child thing going on.
Anyways this piece of lumber rips. Really like the Lace pups, the red dually in the bridge reads out at a beastly 30k and sounds very LP'ish. Think this Tele will handle the brutalz nicely.
The neck pickup is a blue Lace Sensor, which is supposed to replicate a Gibson P90, it balances nicely with the bridge pup. The Fender red dually in the bridge isn't a true bucker as neither of the coils are reverse wound unlike the production version of that pup which is a true humbucker. I'd say the pickup has as much output as a Duncan Distortion despite the 30k reading. Regardless the pups are quiet, especially compared to my SG w/ pig 90's
Really dig your Tele hbomb, not sure if yours has a solid ash body or not, but wish my ash body looked as nice as yours, mine has solid 2 piece body. Also that Invader in the bridge is a very nice touch.
The invader is awesome, but I am having trouble finding a neck pickup that keeps up with it, Thinking about one of those Guitar Fetish rail bucker tele pickups
one problem with the invader is that it is so high output compared to my other guitars that none of my pedal and amp settings work, it may have to get it's own board and amp (which seems crazy)
I think it is solid ash, I would have to ask, the guy at rinehart is super helpful though which is very cool

Yah an Invader may be tough to match in a standard Tele design. Most Invaders are usually paired with another Invader. I know the Duncan custom shop makes an Invader in single coil form but then you'd need a pickguard with a single coil route.
I'd get the hottest tele neck pickup you can find and give it a whirl.
Cold solder joint at the pickup selector when I wired it up. It sat for a while because I was too busy / not motivated to fix it, but now that she's up and running I couldn't be happier!
Well, that's not true... gonna swap out the pickups, these CIJ Jazzmaster ones are a little thin for my taste. That'll give me an excuse to replace the "foam" under the pickups as well, since right now I just have bubble-wrap under them!
