Thanks! I've had the SG for almost 15 years now, it's loaded w/ Bare Knuckle Pig 90's. Carrie Brownstein plays a modified version of the same guitar. Fun fact... Carrie's flop SG was Eddie Vedder's at one point.

Ended up throwing in a Weber 10a100. Replaced the electrolytics with sprague atom's and gave it the three prong treatment. Couldn't resist the faded metallic blue tolex, and those giant kitchen appliance style knobs. Also matches my blue/green flop SG nicely.

That's a handsome combo for sure.

How do you like the pig 90s? I'm looking for a humbucker sized p90..

I like em' quite a bit. Haven't played alot of P90 type pickups really. Compared to a Gibson 90 which I've played around with some, I'd say the Pig 90 is a bit darker, with more bottom end and low mids. It's also a bit quieter noise wise than the latter, but most likely due to the covered design.

Only complaint I have, which is probably more directed at my SG as a whole, is that it gets pretty honky through my Ampeg V2 and I have to start scooping out mids. I'm mainly playing a '91 Tele Plus nowadays and am a huge fan of the V1 Fender Lace red dually it comes loaded with. For my needs nothing comes close to that 30k of beastly output, along with the coil switching options available.

Got a Fender Roc Pro 1000 today! I've only ever owned combo amps, so this whole head and cab thing is a new experience. I love it so far SUPER loud. only thing is the reverb is really weak and noisy. :idk:
