If I was selling stuff I would probably stick to Reverb.
At least when you're a buyer on Craigslist and trying to give someone cash for their stuff it seems like a coin toss. They either flake out and disappear, or they turn out to be cool people.
My last few craigslist deals have been stellar.
Sold my old beatup VTM60 that had been modded by some shiester to all kinds of hell (and not back) with relative ease. Had some guy drive like 2 hours to pick it up the day after it was posted. Had multiple people e-mail me about it.
Bought my Mesa F-100 combo for $525 with relative ease outside of having to drive 30-minutes to meet up with the dude and it needing a tube change (which dude probably didn't realize because he probably never, ever played it in 100w mode).
Sadly I'm stilling sitting on my Telecaster Custom that I would love to sell locally on CL (because I don't need 3 guitars and want to buy a nicer SS bass head and an audio interface....).
