Yo what are peoples thoughts on the Civ VI announcement? I'm really not too keen on the new graphical style, but some of the gameplay features, like multi-tile cities and the return of unit stacking sound great. I'm excited.

I was way into Civ III back in the day. I don't know if I have the patience for that sort of thing anymore. Good to see the franchise is still alive though.

I'm excited, though I hope it doesn't need a couple expansions to be great like Civ5 did.

Still, happy to see it.

Yeah given how quickly I got over beyond earth it'd be nice to see them rectify some of the issues they had with balance and repetitiveness this time around.

DOOM looks really cool but the over-the-top gore would likely get in the way of my enjoyment. There's such a thing as 'too much' for me. :idk:

Jesus Christ, uPlay is such dog shit. 4 times my game progress in Splinter Cell: Blacklist has been erased.

I just wanted to replay some random mission I had unlocked. Turns out, i'll have to replay it all over.

I will never buy another game that requires uPlay. Absolute worst gaming experiences with them

I don't even like Steam, ironically Origin has been great in all the years i've used it - zero issues.

Looking forward to Witcher 3 DLC, supposedly it's as long as a regular full priced game.

I like Steam. I've never had any issues with them at all. Although I'm not too impressed with their new app that they're trying to force on users.

I've never tried Origin, but I have heard a few people who prefer it to Steam.

I just started in on NG+, as well, and blew through the first two areas. :/

Awh man, I've blown through the first four areas on NG, and I'm probably only 2 hrs in. Beat all bosses in one try. I've also collected everything and am doing all the side quest. Only died twice; once because I'm bad at jumping, and once because I summoned a surprisingly strong mad phantom.
