Awh man, I've blown through the first four areas on NG, and I'm probably only 2 hrs in. Beat all bosses in one try. I've also collected everything and am doing all the side quest. Only died twice; once because I'm bad at jumping, and once because I summoned a surprisingly strong mad phantom.

How do you know you collected everything and are doing all the side quests ?
I'm probably near the end of the game now (it does look like it a lot, at least) and I'll check once I'm done but I'm pretty sure I missed some stuff even though I've been super thorough.

Second play through so I'm using guides and what not. I honestly didn't miss that much my first time through. At least not so far. But I also spent like hours searching every corner the first time.

Well, not guides exactly. More so checklist. It doesn't contain every titanite shard, but it's pretty thorough for the side quests and important items (obviously, spoilers in link): http://zkjellberg.github.io/dark-souls-3-cheat-sheet/#

How many times are they going to try to go "back to horror?"

I have to finish Dark Souls 3 (I might stop before the last boss and wait for DLC though) and buy Uncharted 4...

Yeah, I might get that one and add it to the growing list of games I bought and intend to play at some point (i.e. probably won't, sadly)...

I don't really like how 'Horror' gets thrown around, similarly to how there's dozens of styles of Sci-Fi. Still, with RE1/0HD being pretty successful I hope they'll cater to those sort of fans. I mean, I think even the success of the 3DS Revelations was a surprise to Capcom :idk:

Doom 4 is the shit! It's so fun and reminds me of the old game so much! I hate how dark it is in some parts, but that's where it's supposed to be scary. LOL. It's not. Haha. The coolest thing is some enemies you can press on the joystick and your guy will latch onto them and do a finishing type move. Stomp their heads in, tear their head apart, something fucked up. I played for quite awhile last night and had a blast.
