I put one of these on my board and 4 different song ideas poured out in the first session. Nothing like new/different gear to inspire new ideas.

Those things rule, hard. New gear that inspires new stuff is even better, though. I got a couple pedals as a partial payment for some graphic design work. One of them is a Boss RV-3. I haven't messed with delay in a long time. Seriously just spent 45 minutes re-learning to play the jurassic park theme song as weird as that is.

That's a pretty big life goal.
Playing with some of Tym's gear would be rad, but you guys would probably suit Crowbar or Globe Theatre (if it's still in operation, I can't remember if it bit the dust recently, I know there were financial problems).
Globe Theatre is an actual old movie theatre. It's pretty rad.
My brother's partner may be taking over management of the Melbourne soon, she wants to turn it into a venue. She had pretty good success with the Underdog before the, uh, unpleasantness.
But that's a whole other saga.

Not saying it's unrealistic man, was just more hinting at the sort of fringe-elitism the store has in regards to in-store appearances.

Like, only the headlining acts from the states seem to do in-store shows there.
Not to say Tym isn't involved in Australian music, he coordinates records and gigs etc, publishes albums and such.

Sorry man, I sounded like a dick there, I really didn't mean to.
Please accept my apologies and this internet hug in lieu of a real one.

Fuck no man...i didnt take any offence at all. No need to apologise dude.

If by some miracle we do ok out of this recording i would love to play there...but reality is we do local gigs, sell the cd to friends and family and move on to the next one...and nothing wrong with that at all, i would settle for that. Im not making a living out of it, its purely fun and anything beyond that is just cream!

Whopper of a comp from Doomed and stoned. Flux and Terrasone are on this and I also got in on the collab for the artwork. Fun stuff. I had no idea this much would be included! 52 tracks. Some prolific assholes out here I guess. Have a listen if you like.

Right? Its like 5 hours Just realized I'm on a third track on it haha. I had no idea how comprehensive this would be. And already there are omissions being brought up. My hats off the the crew that put this together.

Worked out a swap for an EQD Tone Job. Anyone used one before? Been trying to get a good EQ/boost pedal for leads and I couldn't get my hands on a Dr. Sci Cleanness (without paying a lot of cash, which I am running low on at the moment). Gonna try it out at practice tomorrow.
KHEMMIS. Doomed heavy metal. DECEIVER out 11/19/21 on Nuclear Blast.

GLACIAL TOMB. Misanthropic death/black/sludge. S/t debut out now on Gilead Media.

Good deals with: Ancient Astronaught, conky, crohny, D-Day, Corey Y, ryan summit, tons more here and on HCFX under this username

I'm interested in your results.

I'm currently trying to work out a solution to our bands problem...we are a two piece, both guitarists...the other guy splits his time between guitar and a noise desk. When we play riffs together, we sound huge and all good...but when he stops playing and goes to the noise desk, then its just me playing. I'm thinking of putting an EQ at the of the chain, so when we go down to one guitarist, i can hit that on, to boost the signal to make up for volume, but also introduce some more low-end as well, to make up for the fact that his seven string low-end disappears as well...hoping an eq pedal like this one will help fill out the sound so its not a huge drop off when he goes off guitar.
