Re: Count To Five
What would you need to have a latching switch for? Unless it's one of them fancy transcendental features I've yet been made privy of.

Re: Count To Five
yes in the hopefully not so distant future you will be able to setup how it behaves but for now there is just the firmware form the previous run that can have this option. i made it for a guy who uses the pedal playing drums so even though he would be sitting, i still think it is a bit of a chore. I will post it later today or tomorrow. If you have rev k or rev l board it will work. The volume control in mode 3 mentioned recently in the thread does not work with the altered firmware though, that is the only caveat.

Oh that's awesome! If I decided that I absolutely needed the volume control in mode 3, would it be easy to go back to the original firmware from the new run?

Re: Count To Five
yes, you can reflash it as many times as you want, although eventually you shouldn't have to switch.

Re: Count To Five
you can download it here now. it is the 0.941k release mentioned on this page. please read the comment to see how the button works.
http://mtlasm.blogspot.ca/p/count.html
you can also find the lastest firm for rev k/l boards that has the volume added, if you bought one in the sept 2015 pre order, this is an update for you. (0.95k)

Oh, duh. I read "recording" as "not live" not "recording a loop to the pedal"

Re: Count To Five
Just tried to flash the firmware, but there's no volume control in mode 3. I'm guessing it didn't work for whatever reason even though Dfuse showed the status from 0-100% for both erasing and upgrading. I'll try again tomorrow, but if anyone has any troubleshooting tips I'd greatly appreciate them. Gotta admit, this firmware and coding stuff is way over my head.

hi
you have to hold Q down (ie pointing down) to access the volume. You must keep Q held down while turning dir 1,2,3 for them to act as volume knobs. Make sure you are downloading from the 0.95k link on this page
http://mtlasm.blogspot.ca/p/count.html
the file you get should be called "application_release_0_95_k_l.dfu"

Re: Count To Five
Is there a firmware update for the Rev J boards? I may be dull and missed that in the thread/blog
