Got my GEEEEEEEEEEEtar in. Now I have to figure out what kind of strings I want to use. The ones on it aren't quite dead, but I don't like the feel of them. I like smooth feeling strings. Smooth like my balls. :)

I thought about slapping flats on that,
it would make it less "metal"

but that guitar has plenty of high end, may smooth it out.

Also: Was spending alot of my day wondering about your balls and their smoothness, and now I can move on to other things.

Got a stellar deal on it at a shop about an hour away. No spandex or much hair left to tease.

Also, finboy and Suspiciousangora? She suggested that you guys have "too many guitars".

I think I've made if someone's 5 year old thinks I'm rock and roll. :thumb:

kudos on sticking a good neck on the guitar and not giving a fuck about the brand. Those VM Jazzmaster necks are great...ig it wasn't for my alu neck, i dont think i would have swapped out mine for anything.

Thanks. Yep, I don't care about the logo on the headstock. A good neck is a good neck and I LOVE the shape and feel of the JM-JM necks. Chunky profile, satin finish with big ass frets. It's a nice counterpart to my other strat which has a super skinny CIJ '68 RI maple neck on it.

The Marr switching is awesome. You should do it.

What does the "rhythm circuit" do on a Marr Jaguar? I actually quite like the standard rhythm circuit, but if I'm modding the electronics I'd probably also add the option to route either pickup combination from the 4-pos through the rhythm circuit (instead of only having the neck pickup in there).

They're changed to routing through caps to take off low end to make is more jangly. One of them cuts low end on position 4 (series) and the other is a universal.

Could just rewire the strangle switch to do series/parallel rather than swapping out the plate? That's what I've done and it gives the same functionality as the Marr but takes slightly less time and no money.

So I know that I haven't had my new guitar long, but I'm debating listing it already. I actually had last night and pulled the ad. I love the way it sounds, but I find that I need a different neck style. I have played a few Schecters and PRS and they seem to fit me better. Plus it's a bit on the heavy end, which kills my back.

I'm not set on anything yet, but I'm debating it.

Better to have something you'll play versus something you won't.

You know what! I think my issue wasn't the guitar. It was the way I was holding it. I'm so used to hold a bass a certain way and I changed my technique today and fell in love! This guitar fucking rocks!!! It sounds amazing with everything!

Neck step is buying a damn strap! LOL!!! Need one desperately!

I also bought three packs of strings to see what I dig most. So far, I'm liking the heavy gauges.

I finished a project today! Tuned to B or drop A. Sounds really massive, as you would expect from a guitar with those looks

Hmm, I could do that, but I never really liked those slide switches over there. I keep knocking them out of place and I also don't like 'em looks wise. I have acces to free laser cutting though, so it won't be that expensive!
