I considered the same, but think I would really miss the digital (additive) waveforms and mod routing. Really interested in the Minilogue's motion sequencing, but that just makes me want to dump the MK for a MS2000.

I've got a synth question that I hope one of you guys can help me with. I've got the Moog sub 37....can I run the midi out to some something like a minitaur so I can use that as a bass synth. I don't need polyphony but I was just wondering if I play a C# on the Sub 37 can set that to output one sound while the Minitaur also plays a C# but is set up for a different tone so I can get something thicker? Also, if that's possible, can I run something like a McMillen 12-step midi foot controller into the sub 37 and get those two sounds with my feet? I ask because I'm doing a solo drone project with guitar and if I could add some synth, particularly bass synth while still playing guitar and since the Taurus unit as so pricey and not in current production I'm wondering what I can do with my current gear and what I can add with an additional purchase. Thanks.

Yes and yes. The MIDI info in that case is just the note being played (and when it stops/starts), actual sound generation is something else.

Yeah, Korg have always made cool stuff. I've probably owned more Korg synths/instruments over the years than synths from all other companies combined (educational MS20, MS10, SQ10, Poly800, MiniKP, Monotribe, Monotron, Volcas, etc.) and it's almost always been excellent and fun to use stuff. They know how to make things that musicians can actually use. This one is apparently a winner too.
