finally figured out how to run mic, headphone, and speaker ties into my closet. it's far simpler than i had previously thought. shouldn't take more than a day of work. after that all i need to do is install an isolation floor (which i already have framed together) and hang soundproofing. it's been almost a full year but my new room is finally shaping up into a studio like my old room.

I found my little pocket of inspiration tonight, just improv jammin on the porch. Felt natural, riffs flowing. My neighbor came home from wherever she was and she stood at her door a bit, even after she had unlocked it, just to listen to me. It made me smile to know I wasn't the only one feeling it.
