He was a beautiful young man.

Would.

Does this mean I can accuse hipsters everywhere of being racist dictators?
Pretty sure it means I can.

I completely agree. otherwise people just end up talking about marx or socialism and how they feel about an ideology instead of the object (usually policy) itself. fucking language games

Oooookay. Monday sucked, but tuesday was a little better, yesterday was great, i went to a therapist, had a really positive and growing hang out with my recent ex that felt like the first time we were able to actually begin being real about emotional stuff, then watched a romcom with my partner and my partner's partner, because weirdo leftist gays. Yesterday ruled.
Today felt good. I got my car plated. I went and tried on clothes without buying anything, just for shits. I did some sewing and embroidery, i spray-painted a pair of ugly jeans black. But i saw my recent ex again and it was just like, asldfjkjklafddfjkls whyyyy is he hanging out and laughing and having a good time with this person he used to tell me how much he hated, and every time we see each other it's just sadness and stress and confusion and anxiety? I went to a watch TV with friends and somebody came in the room and made everyone cry and then left. And then my car died, on an uphill, and the battery is just fucked and won't hold a charge at all so i had to roll it down hill into a parking space with no power steering. I had plans to go out of town tomorrow to see a friend and run errands, and now i have to spend prolly around $100 that i don't really have to get a new car battery. Fuck this whole evening.

And i know that Lenin, Stalin, and Mao were dictators, but there are still fringe left loonies thumping little red books in towns i've lived in all over the USA, so i wouldn't just discount those people out of hand. And i know they represent a degeneration of Marx's ideas, and again, baby/bathwater, got it. I just don't really jive with most of the applications of Marx's theories, which, in fairness, were written about an iteration of Capitalism that is over a century old, and Capitalism has changed a lot, so i get it. I'm tired.

I'm confused on the whole partner/ex thing.
What's a partner vs a boyfriend?
(Sorry, I interact with 2 people on a regular basis and know almost nothing about relationships and sexuality, etc. so I'm ignorant about everything that involves people)

Ugh. Sorry. I am a gay person in a small dating pool. The person who just broke up with me i sometimes refer to as boyfriend, other times as partner. The person i am still seeing is just partner, since they are not a boy. again, stupid fringe left gay problems, acknowledged.

Dude, when you've got two gears (rage and sarcasm) you gotta be forgiving when people confuse the two. :animal:

If i've learned anything from the world it's that D.o.S. is going to end up correct and there's no such thing as two steps forward without one step back. Can we go back to talking about the attractiveness of historical shitbags?
