I'm actually working on some other projects, and all have the same color headstock, but different body colors. I think/hope they will look cool together once they're all finished!

That SG is sometimes just my favorite thing. I think it needs some setup work, definitely a neck adjustment, and it deserves proffessional shit. I guess I love it for sentimental reasons. It's gonna be more personalized, like some kind of vibrato tailpiece, like a bigsby or something and a pickguard with a slanted single cool in the neck and Humbucker in the bridge and followed by pickups that match my feelings for it. I've owned it for a long time and just looking at it makes me feel good. Such a good decision going with that over an emg pointy guitar, which I wanted before. Bought it as a 15yo I think, maybe a year younger.

is it a dramatic improvement in the tones?
I only tested them for a few hours but they're amazing compared to the crappy japanese pickups. Especially the neck pickup.
I heard the I's are brighter than the II's , that's probably true, the tone is REALLY bright on the bridge position.
