Using a strymon primarily as a buffer - wasn't sure if it was a serious answer or not!

I recently got a 5E3 deluxe replica, and something about the vintage circuit means it isn't ground the same way as modern amps... So any true bypass pedal pops in a huge way....

The only way to fix it is to have a buffer after them in the chain...

I basically need a buffer last and the strymon only just got switched from True bypass to buffered and works. Saves me using a stand alone buffer or a Boss tuner at the end!

Got to have a buffer, and the strymon is nice, sparing reverb and trem when needed. Mwa!

I've been using the best ProCo Rat for years! These days I just mix it up.

Went through a brief period where 3 of my favorites were out of commission at varying times (No Memory, Ct5, & Super Radical), but the fam's all here again.
In the coming months I'll be adding a ss/bs Pretty Years, Dwarfcraft Happiness, and a DD-6 and/or Maleko Charlie Foxtrot. I'll be done after I get those and add a couple EXP pedals/maybe a volume alongside (until Knobs posts a badass demo of something I can't pass up).

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!
