i've been having some anxiety lately. I can't tell if this girl i'm seeing is into me. she lives kinda far and works a lot but I can't tell if that's an excuse to not hang with me. we seemed to hit it off well but I feel insecure and idk if it's justified. on the other hand she's impulsive and has always been bad at getting back to me, I could just be paranoid but its been over 2 weeks and I get girl crazy pretty easily. hard to get my mind off her, damn you emotions

So a few stressfull things going on at the moment. I've been booking a tour for the past 4 months for some friends and one band that I play with live too and it's just not worked. I've booked tours before, organized three 14-day or longer tours in the past, all by myself, as well as helped out with parts of bigger ones and done smaller/shorter. This time however, it just doesn't seem to work out and it bugs me. I really have tried and put both work and time, but so far, from some 150 e-mails and messages I've managed to fill only three (!) out of 18 dates and there's just a little more than a month to go. I hate failing but what makes it worse is the fact that 5 other people have taking time of from work for this and now it might not happen. I've really done all I could and I will give it one last push but don't want to burn myself out. (Also, what else is there to do when half of the continent seems closed during the chosen period and you get no interest or even replies, despite starting out early and sending a couple of chase mails?) I have enough stress as it is at the moment, probably a lot more than I should, and have had for the past 1,5 months or so. I do this all in my spare time and for no money or other "payment" whatsoever, but still feels shit letting my friends down like this. =(

Also, I play with a drummer who's been sober for the past 10 years, but showed up not sober at all, but pretty obviously affected by somekind of substance last rehearsal, so yeah, intervention time. He can get really agressive too about people worrying, so yeah....ugh. Wish us luck!

Holy fucking shit, intervening is hell, as someone who has been on both sides. Good luck PanicProne. I don't do the show booking anymore, but let me know if you're tryna go to the midwest, i can keep ears to the ground if it's in my realm of knowledge at all?

My son's been battling an eating disorder for about 3 years. We'd been managing his nutrition fairly well...but outpatient treatment wasn't getting it done and we had to put him in a residential facility. Fucking sucks.

Thanks, intervention couldn't have gone better. He was so happy we brought it up and was really open about everything. At least step one sailed through smoothly I guess. As far as booking goes, I reckon I'm on the wrong side of the pond. But yeah, thanks again.

Google keeps adding new shit to my phone and it's filling up my memory.
I've disabled all google play apps (minus google play itself) three times in the last 5 minutes and they keep enabling themselves again. :mad:
