^^^ I love that, Resin. I've been listening to it for the past few weeks.

I recorded this on my phone for instagram, figured I can post it here too

Obviously not professional at all or anything as it was just a loop that I had rolling to study to, but I dig it. :snax:

This is awesome! I wasn't sure how just bass and drums was going to work, but it sounds great!

Thanks dude! It's actually a bass vi, not sure why Nicky put it on there as just bass. It's a ton of fun to do this sort of stuff as a two piece though, we're playing our first show in August and I'm stoked to see how crowds respond.

I admire your confidence to expect crowds at your first show. Mine traditionally have like 8 people there at that point haha.

It's a pretty big fest and were third on the bill for the first day. This band is kinda the continuation of an old band so we have an audience built in. Otherwise I'd be expecting literally two people, one of whom leaves after the first bit of noise.

I usually play loud dynamic guitar drone/ambient/shoegaze/etc etc etc, but I recently got a chance to record on a church pipe organ. Here's a record of those recordings!

Are you doing most the manipulating in DAW or with hardware?

I dig it D.O.S.! I do quite a bit of reading to your music. Random thing I've been wondering: what do you mean when you tag it as "high altitude?" I mean, I can guess, I imagine when I climbed my rainier how all life just gets sparse and the air is thin, which sort of relates to minimalism or something...

Thanks dude!

It's sort of the opposite of the concept of the other tag (bathyscaphe), but they're both intended to evoke the sort of climate-in-extreme that fuels most of my thinking around this sort of music.

That's what I say if I want to sound smart. It also doubles as a stupid weed joke if I'm trying to be silly. Gotta play both angles to get the honeys and all.

Have the floating glass record bookmarked/queued up but I haven't listened to it yet.

Here's a little preview of our album which should be out in the next two weeks. Drums + pedals + amps + Bass VI.
