Take care, man, it sucks how quickly things can take a turn. Sending best wishes your way.neonblack wrote:Hey guys, thanks for all the well wishes. UC, I couldn't take money from anyone here in good conscience. I've been broke before and I'll be broke again.
Shit is just piling up at an alarming rate. This time next month, things should resemble normal again, at least financially. It's a lot easier to take care of one person than three.
I didn't mean to alarm anyone. I'm just not coping with this well.

Not in a position to give much material help myself, but i wanted to say that i am often thinking about people on here and wanting the best for them. Sorry to hear the bad news Neon, and even though i cannot exactly relate, it is still a bummer to hear and i am hoping for good things for you.

Please do. It can be hard to ask for (and accept) help, but we are really happy to do it. It couldn't be easier for us to send some pedals your way when you are ready.neonblack wrote:
And I might actually take people up on offers to help
Normally I'd be all "ugh but my pride" but fuck that. My therapist said accept any help and support that I'm offered, so I'll keep that in mind.

Damn. Sorry, Neon. Hope things pick up for you. I'll see what I can chip in, too (looks in wallet). OK, maybe a pedal, instead.

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
We had a wasp's nest underneath some boards of our bay window. Have had to keep our windows closed for the last 5-6 days because those suckers grew in population real quick and can bring down our dogs easy peasy. It's been excruciatingly warm in here. Anyways, we couldn't just remove the nest as it was hidden well inside the construct of the bay window, so we had to spray them. The sound they made was fucking heartbreaking and now the part of the hive that was out hunting just stand in a cluster looking at the hole they used to crawl in. They will try to rebuild nearby without a queen. Basically, one of the males/hunters will pretend to be queen even if it can't lay eggs and they will all die soon, which is kind of tragically comical...a drag wasp. I don't know. It still made me fucking sad having to do that.

Save the bees and bumblebees. They are cute and chill. But get rid of these sick evil stinging belligerent fuckers that are wasps and hornets.UglyCasanova wrote:We had a wasp's nest underneath some boards of our bay window.
