I'm also really behind. I didn't realize there was a new firmware. Where can I read about new firmware?decomposing wrote:I'm so behind.
I need to read the new firmware settings.
and see which I want to use I guess.
You can read the firmware updates on the mtlasm website.MrNovember wrote:I'm also really behind. I didn't realize there was a new firmware. Where can I read about new firmware?decomposing wrote:I'm so behind.

I don't even know which revision I have, although I assume it's an early one because I think I was in on one of the first batches.

this is simply because i'm not fast enough to do it by holding it down and releasing it in mode 2![]()
besides, momentary in mode 1 does something else by now i believe.

Sorry for the self promotion here, but I thought I'd post this as we ended up using the Count to Five on this track.
The whirly swirly layers that sit serve as the intro and sit underneath the track was done with the following Mode 3, all three loops, quantized to 5ths and octaves CT5>Small Stone>Limbo 2.
I really wanted to thicken the song up and add some sort of movement to it, so I basically got on the floor and improvised with the CT5.
Here's the loop isolation.

Again, sorry for the self promotion, just thought people might be interested to hear the CT5 in a recorded context.Hope you dig the song.
Cheers, that was nice and easy! Reading all the functions of the latest ones maybe I need to swap up though..multi_s wrote:Hi,monkeydancer wrote:I would like to ask the same question. Had it since late 2014 and never got round to any updates, no idea where to start!
If you have had it since 2014 your version might not work with the latest updates. please check the pcb revision, then you can download the latest firmware for that version here:

ok so we are approaching another batch rolling out of these so it gets the usual firmware massage.vidret wrote:i still think pressing the momentary stomp in mode 1 should freeze the sound in the buffer.
