Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Those Palmer boards kick ass in design over the pedal trains. I've never seen one irl, since there's some patent thingy pedaltrain has.

Oh Ive never seen one of these, they look interesting although is that elastic band thing actually good? Seems strange to me, although I guess it should be able to hold it just as well even with the extra give I guess.

That's most of what I did...Moog LPF or fuzz Factory into Harpeggiator. Then use the other one post arp for fuzz/filtering.Brandsmannen wrote:Man this board is everything. Kind of a similar idea as I have on my guitar board but with better stuff. You gotta have something to drone into the pitchfactors arpeggiator mode though, that is fun as hellUglyCasanova wrote:Guitar board for my other band, Autom.![]()

UC you need a Source Audio Reflex dude! Then you could express all that shit! Well except the PY's I believe. Also, your boards are starting to look more tame, I dig it. I'm kind of getting to the same place. Finding what I really like you know?

PF+space is really really legit. Honestly feel like anything+space is essentially sickDisarm D'arcy wrote:PitchFactor + Space.UglyCasanova wrote:Guitar board for my other band, Autom.![]()

The Reflex can output CV as well as passive expression so I'm pretty sure it'll do Pretty Years, unless I'm missing something. I'm getting a Reflex in a trade shortly so I really hope so!jwar wrote:UC you need a Source Audio Reflex dude! Then you could express all that shit! Well except the PY's I believe.

Indeed it does do CV, there are dip switches on the bottom to set the output.peaches wrote:The Reflex can output CV as well as passive expression so I'm pretty sure it'll do Pretty Years, unless I'm missing something. Swap the Pretty Years for a Turbo Rat, the Algal Bloom for a Klone, and the Nemesis for a TimeLine and that's my pedalboard

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Thurber, that sounds like a sick board
Edit: Oh, the FV500H has an expression out if I ever feel like I need to control any parameters without having to lean over.

Yeah, maybe. I generally don't use expression pedals a lot, other than on the BitQuest in iRerror (reverb lenght and ring mod rate). This is a fairly easy to grasp board for a less extreme-sounding band, which is why it is a little more tame. My iRerror boards are still pretty weird I think.jwar wrote:UC you need a Source Audio Reflex dude! Then you could express all that shit! Well except the PY's I believe. Soon, I hope. We've been at it for well over two years. We're three dudes with very different musical backgrounds and interests (me:noise, prog, postrock - other guitarist:blues, classic rock and folk - bassist and computer wizard: house, psytrance and other forms of EDM). It takes a while to really compose something we all like, to say the least. But I think it's a very interesting fusion and I look forward to finally recording some stuff.monkeydancer wrote:Goddamn UC.when/how can we hear Autom?

Dude the Pitchfactor is fucking amazing and Space are both amazing with expression. Seriously! Love using that shit on those! Like the Crystals algo it's especially useful.
Also which one does CV on the Reflex? I didn't get a manual because my was used and I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too stupid to download one. Ok, I'll go do it now. LOL

Uglycasannova's board is a focused thing of beauty and quite *sploosh* inducing.
Here's the disorganized mess I've been tinkering with today:

The Donner Wave delay arrived today, and is definitely analog and miniscule, but not so modulated. If nothing else, it can self-oscillate like a mofo and is solid enough to injure someone if thrown.

Yesterday at the studio. Here are some PedalPrOn pics from our rec:
