Both the blofeld and the machinedrum makes me wet. Do you have any links to your music anywhere pv? :)

I'm calling bullshit on you having that much space in a place in Japan. Unless you have your own house now, because all of my friends apartments were cramped as shit.

We just moved to a new place a bit further away from the center but cheaper and bigger. That small room (it's really not big) is a bonus and that way all my shit is not in the living room, which makes my wife happy ;).

I'm moving to a new place at the end of the month. I'll be posting pics of my synth setup once I figure out where it's going. We have a large basement and an office space, one of which I'll be taking over for musics.

Also psychic vampire, I don't mean to ruin your dreams of trying a Fuck OD, but mine didn't like synths. It just ate all the low end. Wonderful pedal for guitars, just not great for synthing. I'd recommend trying the Mini instead. Or getting in on one of the last 30 Pretty Years if you can snatch one when they go on sale today.

How are you liking that Intellijel case? I'm overly satisfied with my Pittsburgh cases but I cannot deny the sexiness of that format for future developments.
I play guitar and modular synthesizer in Juggable Offense.

No, that's great to hear. Kill my fucking gas for that shit, thank you! I don't really need more ODs/i could get by with something much cheaper/simpler. Really i just wanted a light drive with the crackling effect on my mono channels. Those Pretty Years look gorgeous, but a used Fuck was already at the top end of what i'm willing to pay for a dirt.
I'll keep my eye out for a cheaper used Mini, but at this point i am probably just gonna trade out most of my pedals and narrow it down to like, two reverbs, two delays, two cheap dirts, and use internal fx on my synths/octatrack at this point. I sort of want to free up budget & space for a second monosynth, but it has to do MIDI CCs and not have a keyboard. But i probably don't even need that, and could just use the Blofeld's Multitimbrality.

Unfortunately, no. My last band (Twin's Blood) was all live improv, we tried bouncing things out of the mixer to that Fostex tape deck in the pic a few times, but the recordings came out so blown out and overdriven, they were more just like bad noise than chill techno. #whoops
And my new solo project (Corpse Flower) is all live improv. I actually have two tracks semi-written that i've considered basically, like writing and recording "official" versions of them and then just remixing/reimagining/improvising them live. Not having a smart phone means it's a pain in the ass to just throw demos up on the internet, and past experiences left me skittish about sharing recordings, which is something i have to stop feeling.

On the upside, the Blofeld and Machinedrum are fucking amazing, and incredible deals if you can get them at the prices i found them. I'll rep this all the god fucking damn time, but here: http://www.juno.co.uk/search/?q%5Ball%5 ... thcoming=0
Watch the prices on that site. They fluctuate with the Pound, but i've seen the Blofeld go as low as $308 (immediately post-Brexit, when i had no money) and i nabbed mine at like $322 or something stupid. It's amazing. Some dude on r/synths4sale was selling his Machinedrum mkII for $500. Get it.

If you ever do get a chance (and courage  ) to post clips or demos I would love to hear some ILF-approved Blofeld sounds. Always been into it, but have held back as most of the demos leave me flat.

I mean, i'll admit, i was drawn in as much by the New Age Dolphins as i was by the insane industrial sounds. It's a beast. I've heard convincing analog emulations done on it, but i got it to fill in duties for pads, weird FX, atmospheric bullshit, etc. etc.

Sorry for not answering that earlier...

The case is super nice. It's not heavy, looks good and is easy to use. The only things are that it can be easy to scratch if you move it around a lot (Intellijel is supposed to release a soft cover for this purpose), and while the Intellijel power supply is super good it only has 20 connectors, which is not enough if you have lots of small modules like me. I added a 4ms bus stick and the problem is solved (modules connected to the bus stick do not benefit from the star grounding of the supply though).

Overall, it's very nice case that I would recommend if the two points mentioned above don't bother you too much.
