Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Yeah those are goddamn excellent... what's the Acid Pig? Also shit, I still really wanna get a big box DMM.
Petee: I still love the Grey Channel, still probably the best pedal purchase I've made all year (ok maybe it's been usurped by the Particle, but we'll just say it's still the king for the sake of this
).
Despite the fact that it has no tone controls, it's a pretty damn versatile pedal. The gain range is huge—I'm more of a fan of really pretty, just-grainy-enough breakup, so I tend to keep the gain settings at the mid to lower end of the dial. That said, once you push it higher, the pedal becomes a fuzz for all practical purposes. So that's a really huge plus... you can have an excellent OD setting, then kick it over to the other channel for a woolier tone. This is exactly what I've been doing—the no diodes setting on the red channel, si fuzz on the green.
Fave setting is definitely no diode, which is my favorite kind of sound: huge, very little compression, wide range of dialable grit. My only tiny wish for improvement would be that the different diodes could somehow be a little closer if not equal in volume, because the no diode setting is fucking LOUD. This makes it a little tough if you were to need to change diode settings quickly, but honestly that's a tall order, as all of the diodes behave differently and you'd probably have to fuck with the circuit quite a bit to even them out. Just thought it'd be worth mentioning as the ONE thing I can find remotely wrong with the pedal. If you're thinking about buying one, really—just do it. You'll be happy.

Rat-inspired pedal made by Acid Age Electronics (Earthbound Audio), basically a smaller/simpler version of the Iron Pig.popvulture wrote:Yeah those are goddamn excellent... what's the Acid Pig?

All my gear in one pic (except for my guitar). The empty spot on my board's for the upcoming polypus.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
^^ Last few boards are Rad as stink.
Had some time last night to add some new stuff and rearrange some old. Probably going to take half of the board and turn it into a small synth only rig for the microbrute. The ARF is freakin killer. MUst try more dwarfcraft stuff as soon as possible.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
The upside down guy is a Jero rehoused EQD Monarch I got in a trade from hbomb. It is the love child of not having long enough cables and top jacks. Gotta have the verb into dirt going so ya know upside down it is yo. Though it does make it disorienting to adjust while playing.
