frigid midget wrote:^ Nice! Another happy HB Powerplant Jr user here. It's as reliable and silent as power supplies can get, if my board ever expands I'll just get me a second one.
How do you like the RE-20 btw? I'd like to try one, but I keep reading it's super noisy...:idk:
No noise issues for me. The only thing is that it doesn't have any kind of stupid "wow and/or flutter" control like newer tape sims do but I like it just the way it is.

The always-on preamp is a friend and a foe at different times but I can't say it ever sounds bad.

You are Neo. This pedalboard is The One.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Yeah that would make more sense I guess. Still, it says a lot seeing it on a board that's overflowing with nothing but the bees knees of the latest greatest boutique pedlols :idk:

In short: Not helping my flanger gas

The BF3 is also the shit guys! Seriously underrated. It oscillates like fucking crazy on extreme setting. I used to use it for an around the world setting where it would swoosh in and out but it sounded like it was making a massive curve around me. LOVE that pedal.

I have yet to find a pedal that does the flange thing better than Boss. I know there's lots of cool options but for me it's the lushest and sounds the best with any bass I feed it.

Bit of a fuzz shoot out with my new guitar. Suneater and algal bloom always sound good duh. The fuzz face might have to be flipped... :( there are times it sounds great but it's so dark, I can't quite get along with it, doesn't cut like any of my other fuzz pedals. Seems a shame because it's cool but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Pretty happy with everything else though!
