Realized that I had an unopened copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening.
Should be fun.

man, Earth Defense Force is pretty fun. i suck shit at shooting games so it's nice not having to take one seriously.
also i ended up ordering an Asus G752VT because a nuts deal came up and it'll be easy to upgrade the storage anyways.

Snagged Salt and Sanctuary in the Steam Sale. It's been excellent so far.
Also, Nuclear Throne Ultra Mod is forty flavors of fun

It does get quite a bit repetitive after a while, and once you reach a certain level, there's not much challenge. Still, nice game but very uneven.pd~ wrote:Snagged Salt and Sanctuary in the Steam Sale. It's been excellent so far.

Is anyone who was initially into it, still playing No Man's Sky?
Satisfied with their purchase?

Re: The Video Game thread
I was still playing it up until a couple weeks ago when I moved into my new house. I haven't gone back to it yet, but I also haven't been playing any games since moving either. I will probably go back to it; I was still enjoying it. Although, I might replay Fallout 4 with all the DLC instead.rustywire wrote:Is anyone who was initially into it, still playing No Man's Sky?

I still like NMS, but haven't been playing. I'm hoping that Hello Games will say something soon......then I'll probably play again.
I've been playing Borderlands 1/2 and Overwatch. I finally got fairly good at OW, and it's super rewarding to do well and win.

Europa Universalis was on sale on Steam for like $11 so I nabbed it.
I was way too stoned to learn how to play it properly last night:lol:
Looking forward to getting deep diabolical with it.

Not sure if anybody has been into the Elder Scrolls Legends Digital TCG. Pretty fun if you were into hearthstone or Magic the Gathering. A little bit more indepth than Hearstone/Magic.
Been playing that a lot.
Looking to jam on some original PSone Final Fantasy games the rest of this fall though.

My wife is getting pretty interested in this one. It'll probably be her next, after Last Guardian.MrNovember wrote:Yeah, I want to like it, but it just doesn't excite me for some reason. Also, I really hope the dialogue was just for demo purposes because it was pretty bad. I'm just going to withhold judgement until more gameplay comes out.UglyCasanova wrote:You forgot Brave, and the gameplay mechanics look like a lot of fun. Very smooth and fast paced.MrNovember wrote:Finally watched a trailer for Horizon. Feel pretty meh about it now. It looks like Farcry Primal with robot dinosaurs.

Re: The Video Game thread
Picked up Rise Of the Tombraider for PS4, I didn't enjoy playing the first one until I played it of PS4 so I figured that I would wait until the year until it gets released on playstation.
About 1.5-2 hours in, it's a good old stupid but fun game. Like, exploding geological stuctures and a girl in her mid 20s racking up a body count to match John Matrix. But looks great and plays well, will likely stick around and finish it.
