Yeah, well done on that.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

has that digitech taken a beating? or is that just how it kinda looks from far away?

It is supposed to look like that, I wanted it to have a gnarly space trash look. It was refinished and modded to an xp-ALL ;) So it has the 100, 200, 300, and 400 modes. I see why everyone loves the space station, I spend all my time there (unless I need over the top reverb).

The look is me. I do a lot of pedal refinishes and rehouses.

The mods, well those were by an electronics guy MUCH more talented than me. It is pricey but a way cool pedal when all is done. Thankfully I was able to do some labor trades for the work (mods for a couple of custom etched enclosures). But I can give you his info is you want it. He can do the mod at any starting point (100, 200, 300, or 400). This was original an xp-100.

I also made a small matching accessory true bypass looper on my board for it (it is the thing with the surface jacks in the pedalboard pic). So I can patch the unit in when I want. And I don't care for way the switching works on the unit (because it toggle between on/off/and tuner), so I use the accessory looper box to turn it on and off.

Haha. Before I got this I would have agreed with that. Have you ever experienced the reverbs on the xp400 :!!!: Normal and even a little over the top sounds don't exist haha

Oh yeah I owned an Xp-400 for years. Bought it for $60 shortly after it was discontinued. Sadly sold it to fund some other gear, and although I have many more reverb options now the infinite plate with the expression-controlled ducking is/was one of my favorite effects ever. From totally dry to WASH OUT ALL THE THINGS.

Shame about the bypass, though, and eventually the treadle would go out of alignment and need to be reset every month or so.

Well, I would have made the extra bypass looper anyway because I wanted it after my dirt (I know I let you guys down with my lack of pre dirt verb haha, but it's just not my thing) and didn't want to take up space for a large effect that doesn't always get pulled out.

I am sure I could get used to the switching. You basically tap or hold to toggle. But I am lazy and on most of the settings I like on the 300 I set and forget the expression pedal, so it works well for me.

Oh, no, I was talking about the actual bypass on my unit. Sorry for the confusion

Maybe it differs from unit to unit? :3 Out of boredom, I did another trve bypass looper A/B last night with both my Jetpack Mods XP100 and a Space Station and still couldn't detect any difference.

What kind of cabs are you running it through? I like a lot of the sounds I get from the THR10C and I'd be interested in hearing the big one.

K. I take it back. I finally pulled out my Les Paul tonight and could hear a difference with duller/thicker sounding pickups (usually play with hot-ish singles). More high end content with the Space Station in the chain (or maybe it slightly thins out the sound?). It doesn't bother me, but I guess it was harder to discern with brighter pickups. Carry on!

Yeah slightly thinner with more high end sounds about square with my memory (but, again, this was about a decade ago at this point).
