My guess would be 80-85% of patrons at Yesterdog are not sober. I think they're open super late? My FiL grew up in that neighborhood, tells me it was a hot spot when he was drinking.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

to be honest i'm not crazy about yesterdog.Invisible Man wrote:My guess would be 80-85% of patrons at Yesterdog are not sober. I think they're open super late? My FiL grew up in that neighborhood, tells me it was a hot spot when he was drinking.
but i love hot dogs so i'll go if it's on the table.
a new place opened up, which i mentioned in the secret satan thread, that grills the hot dogs and buns and has more varieties on the toppings front. on top of that they have fries. and recently started serving alcohol which is convenient for those of us who do partake.
yesterdog is not without its charms.

Made curry and now I think I have a slight capsaicin high.
Also drinking Hamm's.
Why is there something so endearing about this stupidly cheap beer?

Sitting here with a jar of weed and a jar of strawberry-flavoured moonshine. One obviously better than the other, but yeah, crimbus is saved.

Yeah, probably, but a hot dog is like a [uhhhh...can't come up with a simile]; It's more important what's on it. That was the point.
I dunno, our Dogg Haus is decent.
