it's not just for the extra outlet. it's for worry free power. supposedly the adam uses a much cheaper transformer that's been known to create interference.

no worries. i made a thread a while back when i was deciding between the two. someone pointed that out. poul from cioks flat out says it in a promo video he did with that bald european guy on youtube.

Yeah. Saw something about Wah interference. Not a problem for me but I'll have to dig deeper.

i could see it affecting pedals with components sensitive to em and rf radiation or pedals with thin casings.

All power supplies interfere with wahs. Even a toroidal transformer will do it, though by design its got a tighter field of radiation.
Don't put power supplies near a wah.
