Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
I found the tascam at a junk shop for $10, had no idea what it was, but for a ten spot, you can't lose. After some research I found out it's basically a sooped up Tascam 414 preamp in a box, and also Brad Laner's choice of distortion nowadays. Whipped together a true bypass looper and boarded it. Nasty fuzz tones, I like it alot.
Decided I wanted to throw together a second board on the cheap for a noisy stoner project, and aquired everything sub $100 outside of the power supply. Really like the Echo Puss, kinda like a dirtier carbon copy, and won on the bay with a max bid of $58.
Will be running all this into a '78 Super Reverb once I get that up and running.

It's a limited edition 20th anniversary chrome whammy, think they did somthing like a 1000 of them stateside. They tend to pop up every once in awhile on reverb/ebay.

Love that Tascam @braaandooon. Been scouting for one for awhile. Any chance you could grace us with a quick clip?
Also, have you tried a Mid-Fi Demo Tape Fuzz? Wondering how they compare. Thanks!

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Haven't tried the demo tape fuzz, although I know that and the gs-30 are based on the same piece of kit.
I would say they are a bit different though. The tascam offers more eq'ing,(treble/mids/bass) also has a pregain boost, and a presence switch, it gets loud.
Medicine actually has a post on their facebook page from last night, about the demo tape fuzz, saying, "close but no cigar" and figure they'd be in the know for whats its worth.
I suck at clips and have posted only 1, during my stay here on ILF, but could try to wrangle up somthing.

I think that was more of a reference to the actual guitar playing (the opening song he played was 5ive) than how accurate the pedal was.braaandooon wrote:Medicine actually has a post on their facebook page from last night, about the demo tape fuzz, saying, "close but no cigar" and figure they'd be in the know for whats its worth.

Thanks for the sock love, HUF makes em, along with a bunch of other stoner friendly gear. Have them in a few different colorways, and can usually find them at certain skate spots, or online I'm sure.

This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

No you don't.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
