We're selling some CD's to get some cash to record more stuff in the studio (with more CT5 on it for sure) :yay:

"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

yes nice tracks everyone, thank you for sharing.

Here is one my friend henry kaiser played on that is very ct5 heavy

https://killick.bandcamp.com/track/i-sa ... four-hands

i believe it is a one take recording of 2 people with ct5s. i might be wrong though but i think that is what he told me.

Somehow after 10 months of having mine, I just got around to really playing around with the pitch without quantization. There are tons of super deep sub-freqs hidden right around the inflection point between reverse & forwards - stuff that'll shake yr walls & rattle you to the core. I was trying to find that inflection point, but it got so low that I couldn't really tell what was forwards and what was backwards. I'm curious if there's a 'zero' point of some sort? I imagine it'd be hard to find because the knob is logarithmic, right? Like, more frequencies per distance turned when you're near the center than at either extreme.

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

i think you could hit zero but there is nothing in the firmware to prefer that speed or anything like that.

I have 3 different versions.
The two toggle switch version I only use in mode one.
And I would like to get the 'buffer hold' on that version.
Would that be possible?
Thanks in advance!

My CT5 just started acting weird with my expression pedal. It's like the expression pedal scrolls through, but the CT5 stays on the same setting. For example, when controlling Len B the LED changes as I sweep through the expression pedal, but the buffer length stays the same. I've tried typical off/on, unplug/plug in solutions. Any other ideas from anyone while Scott is away?

Are you using a TRS cable? Have you tried the expression pedal and cable with another pedal to make sure it's not the expression pedal itself? Or maybe try a different TRS cable if you've got it?
I know I had a bunch of issues with using an expression pedal reliably before I realized you need a TRS cable.

The cable is TRS, I haven't gotten to try it with another pedal yet. Will probably do that later today. Thanks!

it should only pull ~150mA peak, not 250. We recommend min 150mA.

please send a video clip if you think the expression pedal is not working properly. clips usually resolve the issue in 1 email.

you need TRS with the wiper of the pot on the tip of the TRS. While this is by far the most common configuration, there are others out there.

Does anyone else have trouble recalling settings? I've found that I have issues with that even when I put the knobs in the same places. Is that odd? Am I high??? I mean, I could be...right? :)

Got it resolved. I think it might have been the cable I'm using.

Ah good, that means I must've been using the 100 mA output then. Got my hundreds mixed up. :hello:
no worries. the 856 is advertised to pull 250mA but the ct5 is lower.

maybe you also change the settings accessed by golding the q switch? like modulation/filter etc? these get reset in power up so sometimes it could sound different even if the knobs are physically in the same position.

I will have some update in late jan that will let you save the current alt function settings as the power up default, maybe it will help, or maybe it will make it worse.
