Never a final answer but it's good to chat about and get ideas. Talking through it just now made me realize i'm going to keep it somewhat near the front of the modulation section so i can tweak effects after the loop is recorded and then get to a good place where it sounds awesome and use the Pigtronix Infinity Looper to loop that at the end and then go back to new stuff with the CT5.

Yeah haven't looked at the stuff on your board for reference but more full-featured/traditional loopers are good at the end of the chain. I'd never want a Boomerang or Ditto at the front of things unless there was something also at the end.
If I were you, I'd go: dirt/pitch, Ct5/Revolver/Judder, some mod stuff, reverb, other glitch stuff, delay, dirt.

not too much has changed, sold most of the dirt pedals to pay bills, OCD and Suneater added. (which sound fantastic together)

Haven't really altered my board much over the past year or two and since I got the In Limbo I don't expect to make any changes, beyond taking the mtl asm stuff out from time to time:

Thanks! It's the angle of the shot - none of them are off by much, and I have the velcro spaced out accordingly so everything's nice and secure. I made the board a couple of years ago, and in retrospect making it a bit bigger wouldn't have hurt, but I like compact, small boards so it's a fun challenge to fit everything in nice and snug.wfs1234 wrote:This looks super prettyweed_killer wrote:Haven't really altered my board much over the past year or two and since I got the In Limbo I don't expect to make any changes, beyond taking the mtl asm stuff out from time to time:

Here's my (relatively simple) pedalboard for shoegaze/dream pop. All settings are whack because I just cleaned them. I wish to add a Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl for those warbly textures, a Bondi Effects Sick As and that new FreqOut Feedback Creator from Digitech would be nifty.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
For the what I use it for (playing around at home), I think it's great. Gives a little depth to my noodling, sounds good with both clean and dirt, simple straightforward control. I often have it as an always on reverb. It doesn't do crazy modulated reverb sounds but it gets close to 100% wet, so it can also get pretty atmospheric... I find the three different settings (spring, hall, plate) very similar though, but there is a subtle difference...Most of the time I seem to be using plate for just a little more depth, and hall for wetter settings...ThurberMingus wrote:How do you like the Holy Grail purp scurp?
In a band setting, I've heard it can get a little lost in the mix, but for what I do I find it great.

That's good! I've had my pedals hanging off board before, and it can be done to a point.weed_killer wrote:Thanks! I'm all about the small-board challenge! Whenever I start thinking about making changes to my board I bust out the tape measure

Can't see everything on the bedroom board, but it looks as though I would bang it. I love small but mighty boards.
