Fugly-riffic, pseudo-blues-lawyer mini binge in progress:

I've always wanted to try a cheapo Klone, and the Katfish seemed to have a decent range in various demo vids.

Congrats and welcome drolo! I love my Axo. Make sure you post your experiments in the "Axoloti is Awesome" thread. This thing needs more attention -- there's just so much you can do with it!Invisible Man wrote:I woke up thinking about having two--one for a DL4 looper on roids and another to drop Mutable Instruments stuff into. Can't wait to get cracking on it.
It's a programmable DSP board with built in analog/digital converters, USB, MIDI, MIcroSD and comes with a software to create patches, similar to (Nord modular).
The cool thing is that it has a shitload of connections you can hook up to pots, sensors, bananas ... to control stuff or make notes
For starters I'm planning on making my own cheapo Organelle or perhaps that elusive perfect looper that no company seems to be able to come up with![]()
Hell yes IM -- I keep thinking about grabbing another too but will probably wait until I figure out an enclosure and controls setup for the one I have.
I played around with the clouds object a bit yesterday and it was

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
I was thinking about making some kind of modular thing where I could patch the axo wherever I need it. But it's not that expensive, depending on how I get along with it I will probably end up buying more ...spacelordmother wrote: Hell yes IM -- I keep thinking about grabbing another too but will probably wait until I figure out an enclosure and controls setup for the one I have.
Any ideas if there are any enclosures available somewhere ? I suck terribly at cutting holes shaped like a USB ...

There's a thread on the Axo forum where people who have made cases posted the files that you can send to laser cutting services.drolo wrote:I was thinking about making some kind of modular thing where I could patch the axo wherever I need it. Am I mistaken when thinking this may be a circuit bent Nux pedal?UglyCasanova wrote:Pew Pew Pew!
I just nabbed one of these for the hell of it:

The objective was to procure a mini Boss HM-2 clone, but it will probably be more like the Valeton Hell Flame. We'll see.
