I've been super low on GAS lately (well I mean, I bought a bass like three days ago but other than that) but the idea of a fender twin still makes my weewee tingle.

Unless you're dead set on it, don't do it.
If you are dead set on it, get a Dual Showman Reverb instead.

Getting a Twin Reverb (because I was still fairly ignorant when it came it amps back when I got mine) is one of my biggest regrets. It's heavy, it's big, and it's so loud that you can't really turn it up past 2 without causing the space-time continuum to collapse.
Since I always forget:

I love using fender twins, and yes, they are loud and heavy.

Yeh, its loudness is why I haven't pulled the trigger yet. It's not suitable for my current "apartment lifestyle". My lionhead is also pretty neat, which helps alleviate GAS a lot.

I know how it is... I live in a condo and even my 15 watt is too loud.
