Someone on my Facebook feed (whom I know isn't you) just mentioned they were watching that movie...wild...
But that guitar looks pretty. I've always wanted an SG.
I'm drinking whiskey and discovering Interpol (which I've put off for a long, long time).

It was an entertaining movie, and I will have to watch it with a friend and MST3K the shit out of it.snipelfritz wrote:Someone on my Facebook feed (whom I know isn't you) just mentioned they were watching that movie...wild...

Regarding the SG, I've been trying for ten years to realky get on with this guitar. I love the way it feels, but I just haven't found the right pickups for it yet. It seems like no matter what I try, I just can't get a good balance between the neck and bridge tones. I did have it set up with just a bridge P90 for a while, and that was neat, so I might go back to that if these pickups don't do it for me. These are pretty much P90s with a blade instead of individual poles, though, so I have high hopes. Alternatively, I'll toss a Warpig in the bridge and doom my balls off.
Also, I have some pickguard material coming, but I'm kind of digging the beat to shit pickguardless look. Hmmmmm.

Sweet and precious guitar work.
I desperately need to find a place to play electric...I'm straying too far from my roots...

The Goonies has a lot scenes that are just people yelling and noises happening until something happens by chance.
Like, a lot of the dialogue is just a disorganized mess.
