The treble-booster side is what sold me on it.
I've yet to get too involved with the actual fuzz.

Forever tweaking but getting closer. Might swap out the DT Jr for a flanger or something. I don't like having empty space on and it's already almost too sparse for my comfort

Ok. 2 hours of rearranging, this is now the state of affairs.
I haven't rigged up the power yet........ probably gonna regret the lack of dirt later on in the chain.

Which one is the PLL? What's the 0415 mean?
I googled it and got confused.

Only 3 boss pedals though? come on!

Dependent on mood, I might swap one of the delays for a vb-2w :snax:
...however for only having the trio, those can pretty much be considered the correct 3 Boss pedals.
The PS-3 mode 6 in particular can be used with an expression pedal, expressionator etc...however lacking that glorious unlatch option.

You know I've never tried a vibrato pedal..... unless that's what the clari(not) / pitch pirate are. but i just kicked the MS50g off the board which I used to use for the 'Mojo Roller' patch a lot, like a ramped lfo pitch modulation. Maybe I need a vibrato? It's like a full wet chorus right?
Can you really use expression in mode 6? In the manual it says only the last mode (11?12?) can be used expression. Never even thought to try the others!

Also, PN-2 absolutely slays in stereo. I love it when you find a super simple effect that totally surpasses expectation. Just need to mod it for expression control. So expressive these days yo.

You wouldn't know I love fuzz from this pedalboard (with one fuzz) but this is my only presentable pedalboard which is for live use. I have a lot of fuzz pedals I use recording but I just have a small wooden board with velcro and a voodoo labs to power whatever. I swap stuff in an out on for that.

The sweetness of this board is that you have expression pedal control of: 1) Boss Sy300 - synth or any multiFX parameters 2) 1/2 of the Keeley SuperMod, mod speed etc. 3) Pitchfork pitch

And tap tempo for: 1) Boss DD500 2) 1/2 of the Keeley SuperMod 3) Boss sy300*

*via midi, which it looks like I took the pic before I got the midi cable.

Little 3 loop true bypass 'voices' are
Geiger Counter
Pitchfork
Growl is dirt
Torment is delay and modulations

Holy crap. nice. More and more people getting on the SY-300 train eh? How you liking it? Do you have any clips of you using it? I sold mine almost a year ago but am still waiting to hear it used more extensively in a non Pat Metheny context.

I will have a lot to share soon. Have an album in mixing/mastering.

But I'm using it in pretty subtle movie sound track synth styles most of the time. Not really going to showcase the 'tone' of the synth. But I like its synthesis fine. Typical virtual analog subtractive synthesis. Playing on its own, isn't as awesome as my Moog or Korg Minilogue, but in the mix, whatever. And the ability to have evolving pads by little things like obv. vibrato, but also pick scrapes, finger touches, partial artificial harmonics, and so on...heavenly. Maybe it is just me never getting as fluent at mapping those to a synth/controller, but it is all so much more intuitive to me this way.

The thing I really love is, even if I'm doing something subtle, I often have clean guitar travel through, triggering the synths off only individual notes with long attack times or delay such that I am essentially playing one thing and getting two. I also use the expression pedal to pan between whole sets of things. e.g. toe down will be synth with one set of effects, heel down over driven guitar.

This was recorded live at practice except the vocals. Toe down is the synth, heel down clean guitar. And If you listen at 2:13 you'll hear clean guitar and synth, that's simply the expression pedal in the middle. Synth is triggering off only iirc, the 3rd/5th of the main chords and higher so it doesn't get muddy. The delay on the break is also the Sy-300 mapped to ctrl 2?. So all the effects there are as simple as expression pedal change, and the 2nd ctrl button.
