I started on guitar but nerves and the crappy strat knockoff he had kind of messed me up.
So I switched to bass, ran it through my Percolator, Mini prototype, and Super Puzzle and into his old loud ass Peavey and suddenly everything just fucking WORKED. He went nuts. I played some old fuzzy riffs from back in the day that I haven't touched in forever and he was laying down grooves like nobody's business.
He basically said this was it. 2 man heavy fuckin noise punk. I needed this after the shit I've been through this month.
OH! Also I'm probably going to be doing some part time work for Tiny Engines, a local-ish record label.
...now I just need a job and a house HAH

Are there Marcos in Akron? I thought it was just a Toledo thing and then one popped up about two miles from the house. Right next to a family video which I did not think was still a thing.

Yeah, I know that place. Down in N. Canton.
I've never bought from there, but they advertised like crazy when they showed up.
Also, the family video baffled my dad, too. I have no idea how that place still exists, but it's still hanging on.
Family Video and Marcos are owned by the same folks, or have some articulation agreement. Go from one to the other, each will give you coupons for the other. Can string together some cheap meals and rentals for sure...the video store is legit (free kids' movies), and the pizza is above average.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
Video store was my first job and was totally amazing! We would trade our free employee rentals for pizza or subs and the old ladies we worked with would go on booze runs for us. Lived at home so my entire paycheck went to gas and weed.
