Actually, the new script on that page is different, no editing to the script needed.ogguitar wrote:@Seance Page 121 has the droids you're looking for

DRodriguez wrote:Script has been updated, you no longer have to download anything but the script. Same link as the last one. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2rbxpy767uqnm ... te.sh?dl=0
That should be easier for me to update because all it requires is me updating the file on my server.
Full instructions:
1) Download the script either at https://www.dropbox.com/s/2rbxpy767uqnm ... te.sh?dl=0 or at http://mtlasm.drodriguez.us/updates/Ct5_Update.sh
2) Open terminal and paste the following text (including the space)3) Drag the file from wherever you downloaded it to your terminal windowCode: Select all
sh
4) Hit enter and follow the instructions

Re: Count To Five
Ordered one of these last week, and it's on its way! This is my second time around owning it; didn't want to give it up the first time, but I flipped it for another pedal that I no longer own. I figured it was time to get it back again.
And it sounds like I couldn't have picked a better time, with the new hold update as well as a possible preset update coming!

Okay. I think I was confused by vaguely remembering that there were two methods to try to update.DRodriguez wrote:Actually, the new script on that page is different, no editing to the script needed.ogguitar wrote:@Seance Page 121 has the droids you're looking for

At the time of success, one worked. In trying to update again I couldn't remember which (brain no worky).
Upon checking out the previous posted instructions from DRodriquez and then fishing around in a folder
on my computer I found that this script is what worked. So I sat down today and (I think) updated the firmware.
Got an appointment to go to, so unfortunately I can't fire up the pedal just yet to test all systems go. But
I am super appreciative of DRodriguez and of course to Scott Monk for making this pedal all the more awesome.
More later!

Re: Count To Five
Think this could replace a smmh for a weird out delay?

Possibly depends on what you define as weird out delay. Def a pedal worth a try though.decomposing wrote:Think this could replace a smmh for a weird out delay?

Re: Count To Five
Precisely this. No on-board reverb, tap tempo, or multi-tap delays. Otherwise Ct5 is a great substitute or upgrade.vidret wrote:decomposing wrote:Think this could replace a smmh for a weird out delay?
After all my pedal purchases that's kind of the switch it's ended up becoming.
smmh turned into 1 analog delay and the ct5 in the end.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Re: Count To Five
Damn the wait is killing me. Mine's on its way.
From the cool demos I found in a pile of useless ones this seems to be a pedal that will rip my Brains apart while tripping on a loop.
Hope bossmann73 won't mind.

Obviously, it's even blue.

On second thought, can someone rehouse a CT5 into a boss case for the lulz?

Re: Count To Five
Hey Scott,
I mentioned a long while ago when you were still on rev. i that it would be cool to, in mode 2, to be able to adjust the start point of the playback instead of having to start at the beginning each time depending on the random setting. There wasn't a real good way to implement it though with the 2 switch version at the time.
Not too long ago I brought it up again as now with the q switch it would easier to assign the function to a combination of the q switch and a knob turn. I think it would be a great addition because it would enable you to scrub through the buffer.
I did not get a response. I don't know if it was because it would be too much trouble or something of that nature or if it was just overlooked.
Would this now be something that could happen. I have no idea if it would be something easily implemented or require a overhaul of how the whole mode works.
I think it would open up the possibilities greatly for what you could do with the mode 2. So much so that I would be happy to pay for a custom firmware depending on how much work it would be, or how much it would cost.
