I'm buying a Switch as soon as I finish Horizon Zero Dawn, or as soon as my ILF EU trip comes up, whichever is first. It looks so good, but I love Horizon too and I don't want to bite into both at once.

What's exciting about the Switch is that the likely huge install base will prompt developers to flock to it. I hear Nintendo may add some Gamecube games; the greatest thing to happen would be for there to be a rogue squadron that allowed for competitive play online or local ... I'll get a Switch when there's a few more games/features on the system; right now I'm playing a lot of Wii U games as well as Wii games; that'll hold me over until I get the Switch ...

i honestly think i'm gonna pass. i barely play my 3ds. i downloaded dolphin and played some of my favorite gamecube games, the charm is gone. kinda sad because all the new consoles have a lot of potential and great looking games. oh well, at least i can spend all my money on pedals

What the heck lol. I just recently hooked my GameCube up again and am loving it. Rogue Leader is still as good as Star Wars games have ever got and Wind Waker is pure art, I don't care for the HD remake.

i loved rouge leader and wind waker is a beautiful game. but playing them now just doesn't do anything for me. which is a bummer.

I don't know what it is, but the Gamecube "feels" like the best console ever made. The construction was great; the form factor was great; the software/loading was smooth; the graphics were smooth and impressive (still looks good today); and the games were some of the best ever - Metroid Prime, Rogue Squadron, Wind Waker, Luigi's Mansion

the gamecube is still the benchmark as far as i'm concerned, no wii, switch, or other developer's console will take that away.

Gamecube is responsible for so many great gaming memories. Might be my favoritest console, but that also ties into the time and place. Smash Bros. 100 life marathons. Discovering the joy of Pikmin 1. Mario Party 4 and passing the bong. Playing Metroid Prime through a tornado warning. Double Dash might be the best Mario Kart, adding the extra strategy of dual special attacks. The stunning Wind Waker and bonus OOT/MM bonus preorder. Making levels in Timesplitters 2. Play Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine with the wife. Cant forget Rogue Leader, RE4, or even Tony Hawk 4 for taking up so much of my time. Those were great times, great games.

These are basically the best versions of the best games ever made
