These weren't going to be my first two modules but they have a 20% sale at analogue haven on all mutable instruments stuff right now so whatevs.... i actually have some ideas to utilize this with the guitar and control the CV with the Folktek Triad, Dreadbox sequencer pedal and Dwarfcraft Happiness pedal (which is also incoming)... doesn't matter though. Just getting a few of these things at a time to learn and decide what i want.

nice i've got a couple of the MikroPhonie, they are great with Clouds. I like using em to trigger grains and freeze, obviously awesome as sound source and for modulating any of the parameters as cv. Really cool as v/oct. i think clouds was my first module

I've mostly been learning the "west coast" Serge philosophy. The original Serge manuals and documents are super informative, but this is the goldmine for how-to into Serge modular synthesis.

Great thing with Serge modules is their "patch programability", you get a LOT of different functions from a single module depending on how you patch it. For instance check out the Smooth/Stepped Generator, or SSG.
