At least now they are backed up out the ass and probably going to lose some big clients because of it though.

Take the story to the person who hired the HR. Or their superior. Let the company know what's going on and be professional about it.
They may want to investigate. If you're tenacious, they will. IDK what chance the decision is reversed or righted, but something good could come of it.
Depending on the approach you take, you're likely to make yourself look like an asset compared to those office butt buddies. At the very least it could lead to a good reference instead of something you may consider leaving off your resumé.

I'm mad at myself for starting to drink again this past month. Fucking sucks to have that time under your belt and then see it gone. I know—focus on the day to day, but it still chaps my ass thinking about it.

Anyway, I ended up having a wild week and realized that it's time to get back on the wagon and get my shit together. Ugh.

Two weeks ago I told myself I was going to dry out, for both my physical and mental health. Then I went and got drunk the past two nights. Also broke my caffeine fast that I'd been on since before Christmas. Overall very disappointing from a self-control standpoint.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Goddamn^....and ya, when you have a month of sobriety and your feeling real together and solid, but theres a feeling like my brain/nervous system needs to be morphed...then i'l give in, have some fun and slowly leap over those emotional hurdles towards straight headedness until it's time to get psychedelic again. Good to not go too overboard these days...it worked in my teen yrs, but fuck...getting older I find its pretty silly...silly boys. :excellent:

Yeah I've realized that over the years, I just lost my ability to moderate. If I slip back into drinking, my anxiety gets so much worse... I wake up hung over and have a hard time not drinking again to calm myself, and before I know it I'm in a shitty spiral. What can I say though—I had fun for a long time, but ultimately it just wore out. The good thing is that I know how much I appreciate having a good bit of clear-headedness under my belt.

PS hope those switches didn't gouge ya too bad, Dub. That image made me cringe!

Self diagnosing my gearbox was a no go.
All the bolts necessary to remove the exhaust and everything to even get at the box were seized the fuck up and I don't have the tools or the time to un-fuck them.
I don't want to give up on my little Jimny but this goes beyond my means and even if i managed to fix it on the cheap, there's no guarantee something else won't fuck out soon, seeing as I've already spent too much money on it in recent months.
Can't afford a new car though, and a car is necessary.
Really sick of being broke and going nowhere.
I haven't done anything I've wanted to with my life because I'm too busy trying to keep all this shit together to just keep working to keep shit together to keep working etc.
THE SYSTEM IS FUCKING BROKE, YO.

I don't even have enough bourbon to forget my woes.
Apologies to you dudes not drinking, but I fucking need one.
