I know right. Wouldn't have been my first choice of color but the price was right. You know purple sparkle is my thing. My first red guitarChankgeez wrote:This is nice.dminner wrote:Just go this in the mail.

How does it sound?
Trebelly as a tele?
Deep and full of bass?
Or some kind of middle man?

weed_killer wrote:I hate the headstock actually - it's just so illogical and opposite to my tastes, haha. The only reason I have that neck on it is because it's a 24 fret neck and works as a 25.5" conversion neck for a 24" scale guitar. I've found that my Mustang doesn't work too well with a lot of alternate tunings without having to use thicker strings (I use 11s), so I wanted to build another one just for those and not have to fuck around with my main one.Disarm D'arcy wrote:So odd with the pointy headstock, but works well!

Yeah, the fact that it's a short scale is the reason why I always wanted to try one out.JereFuzz wrote:that's the best partblakestree wrote:JereFuzz wrote: Not only do mustangs/duosonics look great they FEEL great too ... they have those round milky fender curves like no other ... great looking guitar btw

I have an Olympic white version with P90s as well; the Gibson SGs I have (both 2016 models) have a 24.75 inch scales and they play great, this made me want to pursue short scale guitars, hence, I now have two mustangs ...
