Damn it, knew I knew the case but couldn't remember the manufacturer. Their faceplate aesthetics remind me of Bird Kids but couldn't remember.

Each row has close to 4 amps of power on the 12+ and 12- rail so uh, you're definitely good there unless you're going wild with Metasonix tube stuff. The only thing that sort of worries me on that site is this line:

1’500 mA @ +5V on inner row

Not sure if that means only one row gets 5V power, but definitely concerning since off the top of my head you have a few things that require power from the 5V rail.

hmm, looked up the manufacturer of the power supply and this is what it says on their site:

A new eurorack power supply solution developed by soundmachines for FRAPTOOLS is now a reality. A 6HP module that will source 1.25A on each 12V rail and 1.5A on 5V.

ON/OFF pushbutton, voltage presence leds, a lamp USB port (also able to charge your smartphone/tablet) and a 10 way eurorack standard flying busbar are included. Add your own 24Vdc power supply and you are ready.

That thing is kinda majestic, like a well designed piece of furniture... does it double as a coffee table?

Yes, if you put a blade where it folds it can also cut fine cheeses and carrots... or a hand guillotine.

New game:

Is your guitar and amp (and pedals) worth more or less than RuIner's new Euro case?

For example, this case is worth more than all of my pedals and Phenol combined. :wha?:

to be fair i'm countering the cost of the eurorack case with this Craigslist desk i'm getting tomorrow for $75 since i'm trying to get the clutter off of my studio desk and have a new workstation for this and the folktek stuff.

isn't it cute? :hobbes:

i mean just look at that pull out tray

cute.

I think they'll pair nicely together.

As long as it's sturdy...wouldn't wanna damage thousands in euro because of a $75 desk, right? :P

That Frap Tools case is my dream case. Too expensive for me though, the Intellijel 7U is fine too anyway :).

The design is very much based on some Buchla cases, which is not a bad thing as it's a smart design (and I think they improved on some things).
