Oh fuck, dude, that sucks. But it's probably something minor, so don't get yourself too freaked out.

If it was a big thing they would've called you in today, right?

JMO, but they would be better off hearing it from someone they are friendly with than from the boss during a performance review . . . or while being handed their walking papers. Although if they're lacking in objectivity, it might come as a bit of a shock. We don't always see ourselves the way others see us.

But I have a bunch of inane bullshit (life?) that is knocking on my door, and a couple advance copies of novels I have to get back to their authors (BRAG) under a deadline. But I feel a twinge of guilt every time I see a post from you, so that should count for something.

Anyway I will read it, decode it, and solve your problems with my wisdom and intelligence. Also I interviewed a PhD candidate from a reputable Econ department and he was a horrifying moron. YOU CAN DO IT
That's totally fine, let it be your last priority and only read if you have time! The field of economics has absolutely no shortage of morons tbh. Even professors I've had do things like "I won't tell you my opinions but merely give you a toolbox for analysis. Also taxes suck and unemployed people are lazy" soooo

heading out to the doctor this afternoon to see if there's anything they can do about my continuing loss-of-balance issues. there probably isn't, but i have to go and try, especially since my boss recommended it, which means he's getting tired of dealing with it.

What'd the doctor end up saying?

Turns out the issue with my blood work was just that my thyroid is underperforming and I need to see an endocrinologist, not a big deal at all. :yay:

Dub put a plunger up to your ear and go to town. Squeegee that badboy out.

We just got another credit card dispute, which is the 6th one in just over a year. Which means that we lose the money from the sale, we lose the pedal, and there is virtually nothing we can do to better vet the transactions. If the shipping and billing name match and the address gets confirmed in our stamps.com account, I don't know what else we can do to make sure we aren't getting ripped off. I can't refuse to sell to people whose shipping and billing address are different, because that happens all the damn time.

I am honestly considering not taking cards anymore because we have lost a LOT of money over this shit. People are trash.

That's insane. Sorry people suck sometimes. I'm surprised credit card companies aren't stricter about that. Is that one reason why a lot of builders only sell through dealers?
